As an online freelancer (I do personal and business coaching and search marketing), it can be difficult to provide a personal touch. Working with clients on the internet can come off cold and distant because of the impersonal nature of the internet. However, I’ve been looking into videoconferencing to help me be more personal in my interactions with my clients.
Videoconferencing allows me to interact with them face-to-face. They get to see me as a real human being instead of just a name on an email. They hear my voice and hopefully, see my passion for my work as I talk. If you telecommute but want to add personality and a human touch to your business, check out videoconferencing. With high-speed internet and webcams being inexpensive today, it won’t take much money to get started.
