The Cell Phone Has Become a Culture Changing Technology

I’m 28 years old. I was just talking to some of my friends that are the same age or a little bit older. We were reminiscing on our college and high school days when cell phones were rare. Yes, if you are 24 or younger, you probably can’t imagine a time when Mobile Phones were not common.

But back in the day, people actually had to use a landline to call someone. And since I only bought a mobile phone just recently, I’m still having to get used to the new culture of mobile phones.

Am I the only that thinks it’s rude to interrupt a conversation by taking a cell phone call? Can’t the call wait? What about people being loud on the bus or subway when talking on their mobile phones? That’s annoying.

Anyways, I don’t hate cell phones. They’re convenient and accessible. Just realize that you don’t have to answer every call whenever it comes. Voice mail exists for a reason, right?
