Great Mortgage and Home Loan Site, LoanNetwork.com

March 13th, 2008 · No Comments

As I’m getting closer to the big “three-oh” aka 30 years old, I’ve been thinking of buying a house. It’s taken awhile but I think my financial and career situation is starting to stabilize. I’ve got a good chunk of experience and contacts in the internet marketing and SEO field. This has helped me increase my freelance rates as well as find work more easily.

Anyways, back to home buying. If you know me well, you know that I love to randomly surf the internet for good sites. Well, since I’ve been thinking about buying a house, I ran across this pretty cool site about home loan rates. You can find it at the URL: LoanNetwork.com.

Fashion Sites Have Cool Designs

March 11th, 2008 · No Comments

I’m not really in the fashion world, although I’ve helping my sister build a fashion website. However, as a webmaster and internet marketer that admires creative website design, I think many fashion sites have some great designs. For example, here is Better Half Fashions coming soon. Better Half doesn’t have their website complete yet but you can already see the creative use of colors, shapes, and drawings.

I guess that is not too surprising when you think about the fashion industry. It’s supposed to be on the cutting edge of creativity. So if you’re a website designer and are looking for some creative inspiration, check out some fashion sites.

A Divorce Lawyer, Someone You Hope You Never Need

March 4th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve recently turned 28 and one of the sad things I’ve seen is that a few of my friends have gotten divorces. Divorce is stressful no matter how you look at it. With all the stress the comes from handling a divorce, it’s good to have an understanding and skilling lawyer like this Ann Arbor divorce lawyer.

Good divorce lawyers will keep things simple and handle all the legal matters that can get messy. Many divorce lawyers will give a free first consultation so use that time to evaluate the lawyer to see if they will be able to help you in your difficult time.

Learn About Lasik And Your Eyes

February 27th, 2008 · No Comments

I wear glasses, but they can be annoying.  I’ve thought about getting Lasik surgery.  However, I just seems dangerous to get your eyes operated on.  I talked to a friend about this and he referred me to this Lasik Sioux Falls website, because it had some information about Lasik and eyes.

So, I’m starting to explore the site and do some research about Lasik.

Marketing For Colleges: Gibbs College in Norwalk

February 27th, 2008 · No Comments

I’m an internet marketer and I spent a lot of time in college (about 8 years).  One of the things that interests me is how colleges market and promote their school and their website.  It’s weird that many college websites are pretty bad.  You’d think that we the computer geeks and teachers in colleges, they would have a great website.  I think this Gibbs school in Norwalk has got a pretty good grip of website design and marketing though.

Design Is Much More Important Today In Business

February 27th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve been reading a great book by Daniel Pink called A Whole New Mind.  In this book, Pink argues that right-brainers or the creative types will be much more important and powerful in the near future.  He says we are now moving away from the Information Age to the Conceptual Age.  It’s best-selling books like these that make enrolling in a design school like IADT in Vegas a possible good move.

Creativity especially design is really becoming a huge deal.  I work online and I find that the website designers are making a pretty good hourly rate.  Design is a excellent way to capture attention and stand out from the crowd.

Crazy Thought Of Buying A Motorcycle

February 27th, 2008 · No Comments

Just had a crazy thought about buying a motorcycle, possibly one of the Yamaha motorcycles.  Why you might ask?

Well, first the miles per gallon is awesome.

Second, I bet it would be fun to ride one.

I’ve never ridden a motorbike before but I’ve heard it’s pretty fun.  I’ve had friends tell me it feels like you’re flying on the road.

If you have a design already or need a custom design, David can help you get it on a badge.

Quantum Biofeedback Therapy: Interesting Alternative Health Therapy

January 9th, 2008 · No Comments

With my sister working as a secretary for an acupuncture clinic, she’s been influenced by the alternative medicine industry. But she tells me it actually works. She’s done yoga, cupping, cleanses, and acupuncture and these things have helped her become more healthy.

I ran across this interesting website about Quantum Biofeedback Therapy. This therapy looks interesting because it works through electrical impulses to lower your stress. The lower stressed leads to better health because much of health problems are caused by stress.

I can get pretty stressed out with life so this therapy would be helpful for me. Anyways, check out http://www.quantumbiofeedbacknyc.com/ and tell me what you think.
