LOL Funny Pickup Lines For Nerds

December 30th, 2009 · Comments Off

As the internet, tech, gaming, and computers has become more and more a big part of our lives, nerd/geek culture has become more mainstream. I don’t keep up with the latest gadgets but I do consider myself a big internet culture geek. I mean, I spend more time online than sleeping and I sleep a lot. (It does help that I pay the bills with online marketing.)

Anyways, I find it always interested when pop culture crosses geek culture. Remember the old cheesy pickup lines?

  • Do you have a map? Cause I keep getting lost in your eyes.
  • If I could rearrange the alphabet, I would put U and I together.
  • Your legs must be tired because you’ve been running through my mind all night.
  • You must be Jamaican, because Jamaican me crazy.

Well, here are some funny nerdy pick up lines from Forever Geek. My favorites are:

  • Your place or my Mom’s?
  • We can reach each other better if you disable your firewall.
  • Your beauty has pwned my heart.
  • You’re so much cuter than your avatar.

But I think the most important thing doesn’t get talked about a lot. For the most successful bloggers, their biggest trait seems to be the ability to consistently produce conceptually new content over the long term.

Making Money Take Practice Like Learning to Play the Piano

Jason Fried from 37signals:

Most of the people I know who are money-making-machines got started really early. Lemonade stands, car washes, lawn mowing, baseball card trading. I think the reason they are money-making-machines today is because they started early. They learned the skills of negotiation, pricing, selling, and market-reading early. They have more practice selling than most people. That’s one of the reasons they’re better at it than most people.
